Outfall Inspection: February 6, 2025
Outfall inspection work continues at the Comox Valley Water Pollution Control Centre today (Thursday, February 6), which will require use of the overflow primary storage basin and could increase the smell locally. The Comox Valley Regional District has added a sewage treatment plant neighbourhood notification list to our Connect Rocket system. This system sends important alerts via both text message and voice call to those who have signed up to receive them. These notifications are intended to inform you in advance about planned maintenance that could result in noise or odour impacts, as well as unplanned operational issues that are longer than 1 day in duration.
