What is the Community Climate Action Plan?
It is important that the CVRD take both mitigation and adaptation actions to be prepared for expected climate change impacts. The Comox Valley Rural Areas Community Climate Action Plan (CCAP) serves as an action plan for the three electoral areas to achieve the targets set out by the Regional Growth Strategy and the Sustainability Strategy.

What’s the Difference between the Community Climate Action Plan and the Sustainability Strategy?
While the CCAP serves as an action plan for the three electoral areas, the Sustainability Strategy is a regional plan that sets out to achieve global sustainability targets for the entire Comox Valley.
