Fanny Bay Playground Replacement Project
The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD), Fanny Bay Community Association and local volunteers joined together to improve the playground at Fanny Bay Community Hall.
As part of our commitment to involve the community, the CVRD sought input on three design options from the playground designer. Residents and their children, or grandchildren were invited to complete an online survey and vote for their preferred playground option. The survey link was accessible between February 23, and March 23, 2021. Links to the survey results can be found below.
Based on this feedback, the CVRD worked with the playground designer to finalize the design. The design was finalized in early May and the playground was completed in July 2021. Read the press release here.
