Upcoming Events Share Future Plans for CVRD Recreation Facilities

Residents of the Comox Valley are invited to come learn about the path ahead for proposed field, ice and aquatic recreation facility upgrades at information sessions this month.

“Ensuring the community has access to enjoyable, affordable and accessible recreational facilities is a key task for the CVRD,” said Melanie McCollum, Chair, Comox Valley Recreation Commission. “Making an informed, fiscally-responsible plan to maintain and expand these facilities is an important piece of achieving this goal.”

The Comox Valley Regional District is hosting two community information sessions on work done to date to assess current facilities and use, and advise on the next steps in the Comox Valley Recreation Commission’s strategic planning direction.
