Get prepared to duck, dip, dive and dodge at the inaugural “Tough Waters” pool dodge-ball tournament at the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD)'s aquatic centre on February 20.
The tournament will be held from 8:15 - 915 p.m. Regular swim session rates apply and the event is suitable for those 16 years and up. The game will be played in the shallow end of the 25-metre pool with an advanced round in the deep end for those who want to test their dodge-ball mettle.
“The wave pool, slides, sauna and hot tub will be open as usual,” said the CVRD's manager of recreation programs, Jennifer Zbinden. “This is a fun, value-added event for those who want to really make a splash and play for prizes and bragging rights.”
