The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is advising residents that stage two water restrictions will be lifted effective immediately.
The CVRD would like to thank residents for their cooperation during stage two water restrictions. Residents living in the Town of Comox, the City of Courtenay, and the Arden, Comox Valley, England Road, Marsden/Camco, and Greaves Crescent local service will revert to “stage 1 watering restriction” which is in effect year round unless conditions warrant an increase to a more stringent phase.
Summary of Stage 1 Water Restrictions:
• People living at an even numbered address can use a sprinkler to water a lawn from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on an even numbered day.
• People at an odd numbered address can water from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on an odd numbered day.
