Santa (and Mrs.) Claus Are Coming To Town For Free Community Skate

The public is invited to a free “Skate With Santa” offered by the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD), in partnership with Comox Valley McDonald’s.

The skate happens Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 1:15 - 3:15 p.m. in arena two at the CVRD’s sports centre. Limited skate rentals are available so be sure to arrive early. And remember to bring your camera or smartphone to take your picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus on the Zamboni between 1:45 and 2:30 pm. Get into the holiday spirit and enjoy holiday music, as well as coffee and hot chocolate by donation to Ronald McDonald House.

“This event for the whole family is a great way to fit in some activity during the busy holiday season,” said the CVRD’s marketing specialist Robyn Butler. “We’re excited to partner with McDonald’s to offer this as a free skate for the community to enjoy some festive holiday fun.”
