Join the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) on Thursday, June 15, 2017 to take part in a discussion on the draft Indoor Recreation Facilities Master Plan. The draft is based on feedback provided through public and stakeholder engagement activities over the past several months. The event takes place from 4 pm to 7pm at the CVRD board room, located at 550B Comox Road in Courtenay. A 30-minute presentation will be made by consultant Gabi Haas (GDH Solutions), and Bruce Carscadden (Carscadden Stokes McDonald Architects) followed by 30 minutes for questions and discussion.
This presentation will start at 4:15 pm and the same presentation will be repeated at 5:45 pm, followed by questions and discussion. The master plan will guide planning and decision making related to the CVRD’s indoor recreation facilities for the next 10 years.
“We look forward to sharing the draft plan at this upcoming presentation and discussing the future of the CVRD's indoor recreation facilities,” said Jennifer Zbinden, Senior Manager of Recreation Facilities. "This is a great opportunity to learn about which resources are required to add efficiencies to run our facilities and what improvements and upgrades have been recommended for the future".
