The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) now offers four sledges and accessories available for use at the Comox Valley Sports Centre arenas to help make ice sports more accessible. The two child and two adult sized sledges were funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Enabling Accessibility Fund program.
The equipment is available for free use at public programs such as everyone welcome skates, drop-in hockey as well as for private rentals such as adult hockey groups or birthday parties.
