Comox Valley Transit Offering Free Bus Service to Victoria Days

On Monday May 22, the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) and BC Transit are offering free service for all those who wish to ride the bus to Victoria Day celebrations in Cumberland.

Buses will travel between downtown Courtenay and downtown Cumberland, stopping at Driftwood Mall and Anfield Centre (Walmart) along the way. The Special #2 Cumberland will run hourly from 7:10 am to 5 pm.

“Our drivers are pleased to welcome onboard all passengers who wish to take advantage of our free service to check out Victoria Days,” said Mike Zbarsky, Manager of Transit and Sustainability. “Taking transit is a great way to attend a special event without having to worry about where you are going to park and how much it will cost. It is also a great way to get around town while saving money and helping out the environment.”
