Planning is underway for a new regional composting facility at the Campbell River Waste Management Centre and residents are invited to provide their input and learn more about the project. This composting facility will enable curbside organics collection for over 30,000 single-family dwellings in Campbell River, Comox, Cumberland and Courtenay.
Two open houses are being held where you will have opportunities to learn more about the new facility and provide input to guide design and operations of the facility. Input received will be shared with the CSWM Board and will be provided to proponents to inform the facility design.
