Find your electoral area
The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) includes three electoral areas. Select an area below to view a PDF map:
- Electoral Area A (Baynes Sound – Denman/Hornby Islands)
- Electoral Area B (Lazo North)
- Electoral Area C (Puntledge – Black Creek)

Find your local government area
Use the interactive map to find the local government area for any property in the Comox Valley. This includes properties in the CVRD electoral areas, as well as the City of Courtenay, Town of Comox, and Village of Cumberland.
This tool may also be helpful if you're a non-resident property elector — someone who owns property within a voting jurisdiction but lives somewhere else.
Use the interactive map
Follow these steps to find your electoral area or municipality:
- Open iMap
- Review the Terms of Use and select OK if you agree
- In the address search field at the top left of the map, begin typing the street number and street name
- Use the street-type abbreviation, such as St, Rd, Ave or Dr
- Do not include the community name, such as Courtenay, Comox, or Cumberland
- For example: 123 Main St
- Wait for address suggestions to appear, then select the correct address from the drop-down list
- Click the property on the map
- In the property information panel, look for Administrative Area. This identifies the electoral area or municipality where the property is located
